But slowly coming around on the not bashing Tyler Perry so hard.

Im just stating fact,why would any man dress up and portray a loud mouth woman and throw black men in the process.

Here is your stereotypical role for black men and women


Black women:

1.Loud mouth and has an attitude with everyone except for whitey.
2.Half naked
3.Having multiple babies
4.Has something done to her in the past
5.Very successful but cant find a man.


Black men:

1.Drug dealers,pimps,gangsters and etc
2.Likes to fuck everything within an arm reach
3.Doesn't like to take care of his kid
4.Weak and cant stand up for himself.
5.He dumps a black woman for a white woman


Im pretty sure Im missing alot more but you get the point....Why would I want to see this in movies and tv shows..This is the main reason why I dont mess with Hollywood because they always portraying the negative side of us and we go out and watch it...But complain about it..

I would love to see more shows like the Cosby show but it will never happened because alot of our people would consider it too white

All they see is a black man making films of black people and feel this is enough, that content is not important, as long as it represents them... they are also stemming from the success of his plays, which basically went the same as the movies with singing and more Jesus.
That is another thing, like in the Apollo, no one boos gospel singers or talks about films with religious statements, not in our community.
For the most part, in his roles it has been the man to get the bias image, not the women, and if your target audience is women, and they already believe that the characters of men in the movie is unimportant, who is going to complain? the crossdresser?

Tyler Perry is a tool, but he is still one of the only representatives making movies and hiring black casts, albeit there may be a ideological difference... its his money and resources.

Another poster said this awhile back... if you want a better movie, make one, not complain on this man's dime... which is true, I don't pay money to see it or promote it, until there is a newer, more conscious director /writer does his thing.. I will read books.

This is how i feel about stereotypes. Show me a significant amount that's NOT true. And i'll be against it.

These movies aren't for you. These movies are for women who've had these things done to them.

Hopefully black folk reading this post will do the same. I think this is a good short term strategy however brothas and sistas across the globe need to get a panafrican media movement going on here. The problem is its not enough filmmakers of color showing all sides of our stories. We need more daring filmmakers and we need more support from the community. Nobody will give me $1,000,000 to make a movie so I make them with my own funds (say around $2000-4000 per movie) then the first thing somebody will say is I'm not supporting that low budget shit. Well how the hell do I get to a bigger budget film if no one supports the lower budget ones? I continue the grind because I believe in my work and I do beleive one day it's gonna all work out. Man I don't know about server issues I pay the company who host for that. The content will change as I evolve as a filmmaker. I'm working on 2 scripts now one gangster one more of a drama. As I grow as a company my content will grow with me.

Get him to have the preview videos load in the browser instead of downloading when you click.


The site needs a re-design with a clean finish.

You can use wordpress with a theme that looks like the best streaming sites.

If it's arranged like a streaming site, have video tags for previews and build engagement around the tags.

Also for content, you could still make gangster movies but put a twist on the shit so that we create heroes by bucking the system.

e.g. a gangster flipping the shit into some legit shit and opening businesses in the hood.
Can show a hair industry takeover from the koreans etc

I wanted to keep the site still with a more rougher edge to it like the film's I made. It can use a tweak or two but I don't won't a total overhaul because it's part of an extension of my adult site. I still will create though, just need more support from the people who's actually interested in this content to buy from me and not the bootleggers.

Use the google model.


Offer free content but get paid from detroit businesses that want to get featured (background scenes, product placement etc)

The more people get the free shit, the more you can ask from your advertisers.

Make sure you could measure the traffic to your site to be used in negotiation
