Denzel Aka Creesy, Just Because For All Of His Bad Ass Stunts He Sacrifices Himself, Takes The Hardway Out. Like Others Have Said Already It Was A Better Movie Over All So That May Have Factor In My Decision.

This is a hard one.

I agree Man on Fire is the better movie and Denzel murdered that role.

My decision oddly was about which one would I least like to fuck wit on a adverserial tip.

Denzel was cold hearted sho nuff but more about tactics. Liam was straight gully in your face on some calm assassin type ish.

Me personally I dont want no parts of Liams character.

No doubt Bryan Mills was a badass, but Creasy... "Creasy Bear" was badass. How many slugs in the chest did that fool take before he finally expired? He started out by cutting off dudes fingers then burning them so he would stay awake and not bleed out. And then the C4 was some hard core shit.

"For John Creasy, killing is his art.. and he's about to paint his greatest masterpiece"

"Forgiveness is between them and God; it's my job to arrange the meeting."

"Creasy's are is death. He's about to paint his masterpiece."

Classic.

although, since it was his own daughter that had been taken, that's pretty much understandable... can you imagine what Creesy would have done if someone had his kid? Creesy did all that shit for a cute little white girl that he didn't even know a year earlier. ...and gave himself up to "the voice" to get her handed over.

I'd call it a tie for badassness.

Liam = He shot His Friends Wife for information = End of Thread

naw the father had no plans on killing himself, he had gotten the insurance money and everything was fine except for his deranged wife, it was after denzel talked to him he decidd to kill himself.

IMO. Taken. It started of slow but once it picked up he didnt stop. I like the part when he said. "I dont know who you are, I dont know what you want. If your looking for ransom, I can tell you I dont have money. But what I do have are a very peticular set of skills. Skills I have accquired over a very long career. Skills that makes me a nightmare for people like you. If you let my daughter go now that will be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not persue you. But if you don't I will look for you. I Will find you.......... And I will kill you

C'mon....dude tracked them motherfuckers down internationally, killed the Shiek, ran from the laws, killed a sex smuggling scheme/gang, & protected a pop superstar while moonlighting. Pretty simple.

you trying to make it seems getting back a kid from columbian drug lords is any easier, and in the end Denzel made the ultimate sacrifice

No no no... I was talking about Liam's daughter being taken... the reason for him shooting his friend's wife for the info.... and saying imagine what Denzel's character (Creesy) would have done if it was his daughter who had been kidnapped, seeing how he fucked up all those people and blew up a club for a little girl he wasn't related to... and finally gave up his own self to trade for her life.

Taken - better fighter

Man On fire - better movie

I agree.

"I wish, you had, more time"

Cold. But the bomb in the ass was just too cold. That would fuck you up to where you probably wouldn't die automatically, just blown apart to die shortly after.

However, when Liam shot all of those people and then laid down pretending to be dead and having the dudes walk in the room like, "WTF???" And then killing them where they stood was cold as hell.

But the coldest was when he shot ole boy's wife and said, "Shut up. It's just a flesh wound." Not too many movies shot non-combatants.

I gotta watch Man on Fire again, cuz I remember liking it, but it wasn't that memorable to me.

That one scene in Taken (y'all know which one I'm talking about) is one of the Top 5 badassedness scenes I've ever seen....and there was no fighting

Other than that scene, though, that movie is crazy overrated. Dude goes through the whole movie and doesn't get touched at all....and then they have the nerve to put him in sling at the airport at the end...what the fuck, did he fall down the stairs after single-handedly breaking up that prostitution/sex-slave ring? :dunno:

I want to see this one

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Everytime I see that commercial I laugh out loud....it's trying to build off the success of Taken, which I don't think hollywood expected to be such a huge hit....that's why it was on BGOL like 4 months before it hit the theaters.

I do want to see it, tho...once it hits BGOL

I dont remember the particulars but Liam neilson shot the guy's wife because he was dirty wasn't it? If the guy was a clean cop and he shot his wife that would be gangsta but since its a dirty cop I dont think it counted

lol, you serious. The wife was innocent.

Homeboy signed his death warrant by responding.....cold

That is a hard one. I would say Denzel's character from Man on Fire since he made the ultimate sacrifice, but Liam Neeson's character was no joke. :dunno:

I dont remember the father being that callous.

The plan was not for the daughter to be harmed but that she would eat ice cream for a few hours and then the ransom would be paid, the books settled and the girl back to her little girl life. It was evident the father already had some justified self-resentment over the botched plan of which Creasys talk capitalized upon.
