I would appreciate the clip more if it wasnt chopped and screwed. Imma need an unedited version before i flame this nigga.
Indeed.Props bro.. Starts around 22min mark. Not as bad in context as it is out of context. Not a fan of it but he mitigated damage by framing it as a suggestion to get in their head (understanding motives and mindset would be my interpretation) as opposed to merely empathizing with the devil. It can be taken more than one way. He also said some on point shit leading up to that point.
See, i didnt get that. It was more of a "hey, im out the door, but going forward, you niggas better organize, see what these cacs got brewing for your black ass, and act accordingly" type of deal...Indeed.
A lot of conversation on this speech on my facebook. Many feel he was talking down to black people from that second half on. Basically taking it as saying, he didn't do much for black people because we weren't strategic with our issues.
That's another way to look at it.See, i didnt get that. It was more of a "hey, im out the door, but going forward, you niggas better organize, see what these cacs got brewing for your black ass, and act accordingly" type of deal...
Is he going to go back to Chicago and do community outreach or hit the public speaking tour? Just curious
You didn't watch it live? Cac!I would appreciate the clip more if it wasnt chopped and screwed. Imma need an unedited version before i flame this nigga.
As blacks were the first fired from GM and Ford, where was the fight from the white union members? Last to hired, and first to fired, is what they said.Do they empathize with us ?
Then why should we always be told to feel for those doing the oppressing and those who don't care about our struggle ?
Yesh who is telling others to emphasize with us? Again I think that was a dig at the BlackLivesMatter vs AllLivesMatter side of debate.Do they empathize with us ?

Hell no they don't and I don't feel sorry for them and it's not because their white but it's because they caused their own problems by living above their means. These are the so called educated folk who thought that if the economy is shaky it wouldn't affect them but breaking news!...It's going to hurt you more than it is someone in a lesser class.Do they empathize with us ?

I clearly understood his message of "all people showing compassion and consideration".
The same thing wrong with "All lives Matter."Exactly. Listen to the whole speech! I clearly understood his message of "all people showing compassion and consideration". He didn't say forgive your oppressor or any other bullshit.
What's wrong with that?

Makes sense, I'll have to read more on his stance regarding Blacklivesmatter.Nothing wrong with that per se all people should show consideration toward each other but you have to consider the political timing, that was a subliminal jab at BlackLivesMatter ala AllLivesMatter and he's saying it to a black graduating class at a historically black school.
It would seem hypocritical if he is, seeing as he's so busy publicly bashing those who are.Is he going to go back to Chicago and do community outreach or hit the public speaking tour? Just curious
