He's collaborated with many stars in his career but now he's revealed who was the most difficult.
Rapper T-Pain was candid when he appeared on Sunday's Bravo's Watch What Happens: Live and a caller asked him who was ‘the biggest pain in the ass’ of everyone he has worked with.
‘That is a fairly easy question,’ the 30-year-old Auto-Tune pioneer said without hesitation. ‘Diddy was the most what he called “motivating,” and it was a little discouraging,’ he added, referring to Sean 'Diddy' Combs, aka Puff Daddy.
‘It was a four-day session for one song and Diddy would just push you to do things that you wouldn’t normally do. He would try to get you outside of your box - that’s a little hard to do in a few hours.
‘But I think in the end, him being a pain in the ass kinda helped me be better with myself and I would push myself the way Diddy would push me.’
However, asked if he had ever worked with him again, he smiled as he said ‘I did not’ - taking a dramatic gulp of his drink to signify that he presumably never planned to again, either.
As fellow guest Kenya Moore of The Real Housewives Of Atlanta laughed at how much ‘shade’ he was throwing Diddy, T-Pain replied: ‘He’s got way more money than me.’
In comparison, the I’m In Love With A Stripper star said it was ‘great working with Britney’ Spears, and said he ‘would absolutely work with Mariah Carey again, because Mariah gets really drunk off a little bit of wine.’
‘She was in the booth with me the whole time - and it was a one person booth, and she was interrupting me the whole time - and I loved it,’ he said of their session for Migrate.
As well as those he would work with, host Andy Cohen got T-Pain - who openly admits that he and his wife enjoy threesomes - to reveal the names of stars he would invite into his marital bedroom.
In a game called Three-Pain, where Kenya, 44, had to guess who he would have threesomes with, T-Pain said he would not go with Amber Rose as he knew too many of her exes.
And the rapper, whose real name is Faheem Rashad Najm, joked that he would need a contract with Kenya’s Real Housewives co-star Porsha Williams because of her obsessiveness.
He said he ‘absolutely’ would invite Vivica A. Fox and Sandra Bullock to join him, and as for Sofia Vergara he excitedly said: ‘Boobs - yeah!’
When Kenya asked if he was ‘still in love with a stripper,’ referring to his song of the same name, he smiled: ‘As always. Aren’t we all deep inside?'
He admitted that he finds it ‘flattering’ that everyone now follows his lead and uses Auto-Tune, adding: ‘It got annoying until I started making money from it.’
Aside from T-Pain’s constant quips, the biggest laugh came when Andy tried to hold back a sneeze - letting out an hilarious high pitched squeal instead.
‘What was that crazy noise!’ he asked, which Kenya called ‘like a Chihuahua sneeze’ and T-Pain joked: ‘You’ve got a Kazoo on your face.’
