A day after being spotted with new New England Patriots teammate Danny Amendola working out at USC, Tom Brady was back on the field at the Trojans' facility and throwing passes to an unlikely target Wednesday: Terrell Owens.

Owens, who last played in an NFL game during the 2010 season, tweeted about the workout, noting it also involved Minnesota Vikings and former Patriots quarterback Matt Cassel.

The 39-year-old wide receiver spent just more than three weeks with the Seattle Seahawks during training camp last August but eventually was released prior to the start of the regular season. He spent the 2010 season with the Cincinnati Bengals, starting 11 of 14 games with 72 catches for 983 yards and nine touchdowns.

Owens is second in the NFL all time in receiving yards and third in receiving touchdowns.

Prior to signing with the Seahawks, Owens played in eight games for the Allen Wranglers of the Indoor Football League. He also became a co-owner of that team upon signing.

Brady has made a habit of working out with receivers near his offseason home in Southern California, spending extensive time with Wes Welker and Julian Edelman in previous offseasons.

The Patriots begin their offseason workout program April 15. Organized team activities start May 20.

big fan of T O but dude needs to give it up he is done. probably in better physical condition than half the current players in the league but that ain't going to translate on the field

If T.O. Had humble himself sooner, he would had been playing non stop like Jerry Rice at the twilight of his career.

fuck out of here with that humble himself bullshit... dude worked his ass off on the field and was honest about the things around him. has nothing to do with being humble. if you ask me sports and corporations need more people like that instead of pussy's that shit back and quietly complain

You can say a lot of things about T.O., but never that he didn't work hard or wasn't productive on field.

While,I agree we need more people to be honest;TO is an asshole...Still til this day,he continues to throw little jabs at McNabb, while defend Romo...

It was him,who threw Garcia and McNabb under the bus,not the other way around...You cant be throwing your teammates under the bus and expect teams to sign you...:smh::smh::smh:

He got his shot last year and dropped the ball....... Pun intended.

you mean like the way mcnabb threw his teammates under the bus. we loss today because the young guys didn't step up... we loss today because of the defense...

both of those dudes had their faults in that whole public disagreement while behind the scenes they were having parties at Kearse's house playing poker and other shit behind the scenes.

but continue to buy into that national media point of view.

but seriously i think both players could still contribute in the right system....

i know a few teams that could use em....

He didn't have to be a bootlicking coon but he talked way too damn much and that's why he was out of the NFL before he should have been

Sometimes it's just over...

And most of the time, the player and his fans are the last to know.

This is true of T.O....and Chad Whateverthefuckhecallshimselfthesedays.

...but when McNabb left the Eagles, the truth about him came out real quick, didn't it?

This ^^^

Everyone wants to forget how Mcnabb threw his young teammates under the bus after the Dallas playoff loss.

As for TO, I am a big fan. Even though dude was a dick to some of this teammates, he was still a beast on the field. Hell, TO talked a lot of shit, but he backed it up on the field. Still, it's a little too late for him. He burned too many bridges. Even though he can still play, he won't get a job.

Hard working without humility is pointless. It does not matter how great you are if your arrogance superceeds your talent. T.O. made the working conditions at his place of work unbearable.

It is like having someone at your job complain about every little thing. It makes one not want to be around that person

According to his ex teammates T.O was liked by most of the guys he played with so was Moss but since they don't kiss ass and say what's on their minds the NFL and the media threw them under the bus. The only difference between them and WR's like Rice, Harrison, and other socalled legends is they said what they had to say in front of the camera. I heard the stories of Rice having a bitch fest if the ball wasn't throw to him enough.
