Symantec Antivirus ? No Porn.

So, I downloaded this Symantec Antivirus shit and installed it on my hp Pavilion Laptop, which btw was not giving me any problems whatsoever. I open and start a full scan. Well the shit had been scanning for 4 fuckin days!!! I had to turn the shit off as I needed my laptop at another location. Then Sunday afternoon, I run another scan, this time a manual scan of just my C drive and damn if the thing isnt still scanning! I mean wtf??? Its telling me damn near evrything on my computer is at risk of a trojan horse and is quarantining all my GD files! Its currently at 74,267 files scanned, 9,405 risks found, with 1839.50 as my elapsed time. I mean what kinda funky shit is this?? It seems like my shit running slower now than before and again, I wasnt even having any problems with my shit. WTF???

Maybe you do have a Trojan on your computer. Trojans spread from file to file and slows down your computer. Get a second opinion and use another AV program to double check. A virus is usually just one file or exe, a Trojan spreads to many files so maybe you do have 9,405 risks found. Go into Safe Mode and do a scan. A Trojans slows down everything, so it taking 4 days to scan your HD could mean trouble.

Delete Norton. Remove it. Install a program you can get for free from download.com called Avast home edition. I learned my lesson the hard way of what Norton is all about. Had it but a virus still got in. Had to call their technical support (some place in India). Charged me a non refundable fee of $65 on top of what i paid for the program and subscription fees. Never got the virus out. Norton for me and i can assume a lot of others, is a waste of time and MONEY (at least on my part). You keep wasting your time on that scan. Or should i say scam.

i hea ya brotha i had that shyt installed and did a scan on my pc when the scan was complete it told me to reboot which i did.when it was time to restart the screen went black i said ok da fukk goin on here.i then went into safe mode got my pc running again.later on that day i logged off, couple hrs later i tried loggin back on. again same shyt pc screen went black on startup.i had to do the safe mode shyt again restore my pc back to an earlier time and erase this symantec bullshit faster than i installed it.
was never having problems with my pc before i installed it.

try restoring your computer to an earlier date before u installed symantec.

I did and its telling me that I dont have enough memory to restore shit, and that I should delete some unused programs. So i go to uninstall the Semantic shit, and it won't let me do to lack of memory. WTF??
