Elway told Trevor to just go out there and play and not worry about making mistakes. He's going to make mistakes; this is his first NFL game starting. The kid has a ton of upside. He has a solid running game and the best defense in the league to help him work through his growing pains. The kid is going to be alright.

I definitely think Trevor has the potential the play better than both Manning and Osweiler did last season. There will be games where he'll struggle but in the end I think he'll be a better quarterback because of it. Also, The defense is already back to form. Yeah, Carolina showed some new wrinkles since the Super Bowl but once it went into the second half and Wade Phillips made those adjustments Carolina's offense got shut down. If it wasn't for Chris Harris's stupid penalty on 4th and forever the game wouldn't even came down to no damn field goal. One thing is for certain with this defense no team is blowing us out. We're going to be in every fuckin' game.
That's another thing. We'll be a better running football team than last season. Will not running Manning's bullshit anymore. We're running the true Kubiak offense now. This offense is going to complement the defense extremely well.

I understand the running plays on 3rd and short or goal line but they gonna have to start limiting that if he wants to play a long time in the NFL.
