I wish Bernie's appeal was broader, because I like some of his ideology in particular his stand against corporations, and the very, very wealthy. However, I like most dems don't think he can convince middle america to vote for him, therefore he can't win the presidency.
The party should have been trying to convince Americans since the last election but they are bought and paid.
Also Sanders campaign have a bad reputation of trying to knock Obama down that would not sit well with a lot of people in this country especially black people.
