The speed that you're referring to resulted in a LOSS for LSU in Baton Rouge & they barely lost to Florida.
There is no way that Utah has anywhere near as many speed players as Bama but they Bama just got man handled for four qtrs.

Tennessee split with Cal (1-1) last season and the season before. They lost to UCLA this year, though. Oregon state got drug out by Penn State and the Mountain west won all of it's games against the Pac 10. UGA beat Arizona State this year also. No one is scared of playing the Pac 10, man.
Hell, in the last few years I know Bama has had OU, FSU, and Clemson (preseason top five) on the schedule. The SEC doesn't just schedule cupcakes.
That said. Utah played a good game. They surprised Bama quick and that was pretty much all she wrote since Bama isn't built to play from behind. I expect next year to be down since they will have to break in a new quarterback and smith & caldwell are moving on. The Tide will rise again in 2010!

Im not mad like I said I wanted Utah to win but thought Alabama would overmatched them when the game counted that why I said they will win 5-9 points.
Alabama is a power team and I knew they was gonna have problems with Utah spreading their defense out. At the end of the Florida and Alabama game the Gators went with the no huddle and scored 2 TDs to win the game....Utah took that and did that all game long.Alabama didnt had no answer for it.

Im not taken anything away from Utah cuz they deserve to win but if I knew Andre Smith wasnt playing I would of been one of the people who said Utah should put pressure on every down.
As for the conference thing Im not one of these people who say a non-BCS school couldnt beat a major school especially what happend 2 years ago but you or anyone cant deny most of the teams in the SEC are really good compare to other teams from other conferences.
