I had to turn this fucking game off tonight. I couldnt get shit to work right. No combos, no blocks, no nothing. Im loosing to people that I know I should be beating on. I know exactly what there going to do but couldnt do shit to block it. I finally got tired of cursing and just turned it off.

I don't play people like Daimy0 in vain. I was downloading data like Seth for my own evil purposes. Went right into training mode before I went to bed to get my chip damage block strings up. Used record to simulate cross ups from various characters.

I'm trying to get to this level!!! Shyt I now see that all those years of not playing fighting games has put me at a disadvantage now with these combos.
For those that don't know this Korean dude Poongko is a fucking animal at fighting games. Look at his combo skills and use of Focus beastly-ness!! And before someone comes in here and tells me that this shyt is easy, stop it right there. If u're pulling off these skills like this, then u need to be headed towards EVo2K9 or The SF4 World Championship. I'd love to see this dude vs some top Japanese cats, they might whoop em since they like turtling A LOT. But his style is str8 beast, the best and most entertaining I've seen yet.

It be like that sometimes. But remember!!! Playing online isn't the same as playing someone in a live tournament, take it as practice man, seriously. Have fun with it. Its funny cuz I've played close to 1800 battles mostly best out of 5 rounds, with about 1200 victories and I'll run into someone with garbage ass tactics and nooB skills and for some reason they beat me, and beat me again. Sometimes u just gotta take a step back and refocus, get some fresh air and tell yourself its just a game

Shyt I'll be cussin @ the screen, my stick, feeling like I hate the person on the other end all cuz I missed my FADC juggle into Ultra combo. @ the end of the day its just me not being used to playing on this dam stick for years and years like some guys, then I'll use a pad and some things come out better but the over all experience is worse so I'm like in limbo. The thing I hate most is when I know the person that I'm playing isn't as smart as me, nor as creative but he can out execute me since my ineptitude with the controls. All that said this shyt is fun and addictive and dammit I'm gonna be nice as fuck or die tryin!

The combo's aren't a problem (with a stick
). BUt I'm STILL working on my FADC timing.I can do it, I just cant followup fast enough.
Example:
Akuma: (In air) EX Fireball--> HK-->LP-->EX Shoryuken--> FADC--> Red Fireball.
I get everything up to the last FADC. I knock the person in the air, but I'm always too late with the red fireball and it ever hits.
The dash after MP+MK always gets me

That dude is nice with those cancles. And how is that Balrog was jumping in on ryn and not getting hit with one of those uppercuts? That happens to me almost every single time i jump in on ken, ruy, akuma, or sagat. I played agains this ken dude last night, all he would do is knock me down, then when im about to get up, flip over me and do that fucking upppercut. Then gonna talk shit on the headset like he was the king of SF4
. I can laugh at it now but last night it was getting real ugly in my gameroom. I was wearing my headphones so my wife couldnt hear the games just me cursing up a storm!!

I have to say Poongko is nice, he's had a couple videos out before the national tourney and definitely has the best rush down Ryu I have ever seen. He made his fame in King of Fighters years back and is widely considered the best in Korea in KOF... Now the combos (I had to say it) arent that hard...The cr jab to Cr fierce after the double punch takes some practice but Ryu's links arent that hard. But to incorporate it into a TOURNAMENT match and play rushdown in tourney is real......As a matter of fact..Some dude I was playing last night was doing ALL of those ryu combos...VERY solid Ryu

Shoot, I feel like i need a new controller, I have thrown the thing a few times, but agains soft surfaces like the sofa. So I might roll up to Best Buy and see wassup.

lol. That RE5 is good. Also the new Nazi Zombie Map for COD5.WAW. But I still try to play and practice. Im getting better with my Seth. He just takes some getting used to.
I just started using Akuma and M.Bison again. Im getting better linking the moves together.
