Man the online is WACK. Not because of anything but the absurd amount of wack cheesy kids who play Ken, Ryu, Akuma on shitty connections.
If you play ranked, just be prepared to play AGAINST Ryu/Ken/Akum 80%-90% of the time (so get your anti-shotokan strategies up) and make sure you're not playing anybody with less than 3 good bars of connection.
You'll occasionally run into Abel who people use to roll through everything and try to throw you. All you have to do is play distance and use your pokes, no specials and throw.
Zangief is not S ranked... he is BROKEN.
Xbox360 is sad, it's about a whole bunch of cracka ass cracka kids who just want to be on the leader board for fame at recess and do what ever cheesy low life tactics it takes to do it (spamming easy characters and exploits).

PS those who are saying Rufus is garbage I KNOW you got sausages for fingers. Rufus can be used in tourneys. Jump -> down + Medium Kick combos are wicked. He got an easy target combo.

Is it worth it? Cheepest ive seen online is $179 but after shipping it will be well over $200 wich i dont mind spending but i dont want to get it and find out its flimsy and cheap. I read a few issues about the buttons and the control stick like they should be swapped out, what do you think? And is it eaiser to pull off combos and ultra's? And where can i find one in NY!!

lol@ Zangief being broken. He's annoying, but he is still beatable.
Most Gief players on Live spam lariat when they do that trip him, or fire 2 projectiles(the second will hit him). Just keep your distance most of the match, hit him a few times, then get out of his range. A lot of his moves take priority over everyone else's, so if you try to slug it out with him you're going lose.

I bought this stick when people were supposed to...BEFORE the game came out. Payed 129 for it....The stick is the best you can buy on the market next to the SF Te stick...What you see in my pic are different buttons and a whole new bat top as opposed to the ball on top. Stick is incredible and if you are used to play on a highly sensitive square gate stick..you good money.
I suggest looking around China Town....J&L Game Trading and Initial D on Elizabeth Street...VGC in the bronx, or just wait until April for the new batch of SF Te sticks come in..
Buttons, bat tops, and custom parts can be found at Lizardlick.com and is MAD easy to swap in with both the HRAP EX and the Te/Se sticks. (If you can find one )....

It's all good. I'm not where I want to be Vega yet either. Slowing him down has really thrown him off a little, but I still don't see how he was the worst arcade-wise. It just takes a little more, but he is still usable.
I like the chargers too. Guile, Balrog, and even Blanka are doing good for me right now.
Cammy & Abel are some work in progress
Played with Dan on a few occasions, he's actually alright, but it will take some work to get consistent wins with him.

Maybe so, but I think it's because they're very serviceable. I always liked playing with the non main characters or not as popular characters and weird characters. When I first played "World Warriors" I started off with Guile. Didn't play with Ryu/Ken actually until Champion Edition.
Just like on X:Men Children of the Atom. When it first hit arcades everyone ran and played with Wolverine or Cyclops(because he played like Ryu). I started off as the Sentinel, because I liked the Sentinel in the comics and I liked his character design on the game. Everyone laughed at first, then I ran a 16 game winning streak with him that day. Next time I came in the arcade, everyone was playing with the Sentinel

Another reason I think we could be seeing so many shotos is due to how hard it is to use a charge with the standard 360 controller. I'm a great player and I have issues pulling off EX and Ultras with Charges on XBOX. I need to buy a gamepad asap.
Back in the day to really lay the hammer or an easy dizzy on someone I always used Guile. It's so easy to "sneak" his boom or kick into a combo. That would prob be my strategy against shoto players. Or master Dan and embarass them

Now that is very true. I use the whole controller on the 360, I use the analog for fireball/dragon punch motions and I use the D-pad for charge moves. I have trouble doing Guile/Vega Ultra/Super move.
