RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — The lead singer of R&B group Mint Condition, Stokley, will star as Rick James in the “Super Freak: The Rick James Story” at the Altria Theater in Richmond.
“Super Freak: The Rick James Story” musical will be at the Altria Theater on Thursday, April 18, for only one night.
The musical will dive deep into the life and career of the talented singer, songwriter and musician Rick James and his most memorable hits.
The musical is executive produced by Je’Caryous Johnson in collaboration with Ty James, who is the daughter of the late singer Rick James.
