The vast majority of Black America's problems (poverty, disenfranchisement, lower than average educational outcomes, etc.) stem from intentional acts by white Americans (slavery, redlining, Jim Crow, The War on Drugs, etc.)
Any argument about Black America's issues without a historical and current reference to that prevailing fact is step & fetching - a subject in which Stephen A. has a given an honorary doctorate.
And here we are, sometimes 100's of years later still whining about the same shit instead of now figuring out ways to overcome them and strengthen ourselves...
At this point nothing can be done to change history, but to continue to be victims and play the blame game means we are in a lot of ways, still mentally where we were back then...
How does complaining and whining about those issues, without no clear cut plan 'win' in spite of them help our tomorrow?
