Steph Curry's daughter and the epitome of light skinned privilege

I can't believe this but I think the kid shouldn't be here.

Its work...and not only for the athlete.

and it is inappropriate, the room is filled with adults players curse, get asked sensitive questions, lose their tempers, can get confrontational, etc.

Also a player could be using their kid as a type of shield to avoid being asked certain questions.

And IF that kid either says something inappropriate into a live mic or falls/hurts themselves...then you will see the whole village come out with pitchforks.

They cute and all and if the player WANTS to do it fine, but don't say nothing when it backfires.

Truer words have ever been spoken....We've all seen Kobe's kids, Jason Kidd's son, etc and they're all light-skinned. Now all of a sudden it's an issue?! I swear, some muthafuckas need to slit their wrists and lay down in the bathtub..

:lol::lol::lol:

niccas had a thread clowning jason kidd's son. :smh:

and with american white folks always screaming about the missing black father, i'd bring ALL my kids to the press conference... and would play with them and ignore the media questions... or have my kids answer for me.

or have them all say, "daddy is just here so he doesn't get fined!!"

Why the fuck is anyone quwestioning the behavior of a 2 yr old. Dudes in here are a bunch of bitter bitches that don't have kids and never will cause no chick would want to fuck some of you dudes.

Mad at a 2 yr old for acting like a 2 yr old.

How does a 2 year old behaving like a restless 2 year old somehow turn into a light skin vs dark debate. Every nigga with a blog and wi fi access has a forum to spew their nonsense these days :smh:

I chalk it up to being past her bed time.

If you have kids that's probably the only thing that crossed your mind....because they are HELL when they are fighting sleep!

mannnn listen. My kids turn into demons when they're too tired. I'm sure I downloaded the adoption papers a few times cause of it.

cute kid but I still going to have fun with the light skin thing

its just so vanity shit. they either want the kid to see themselves on tv or they want to project themselves as family men. Maybe they are, I will assume so, cuz it doesnt matter. Their kids shouldnt be there, although i could rock with the argument that they are trying to combat the narrative of black atheletes being irresponsible fathers. But, thats the only scenario i could accept and i doubt thats why, these dudes are mostly apolitical and unsophisticated.

BTW, i have 2 kids one light and one dark, and the dark one gets so many compliments, the light was feeling some kind of way about it. colorism is real, but this article is more click bait than relevant social analysis.

I agree and disagree with you, but more on the agreeable side that it's his job. But at the same time there is nothing wrong with bringing your kid to work at least once. Plus Steph is the golden boy (figuratively and literally) of the NBA.

I wish a player would do that.

Then they'd bitch about it on some "so and so forces his child to do x y z"

Or it can be a nice memory and story to share with the family in the future.

"my dad was in the nba and he used to take me to the post game presser."

people comparing this shit to business meetings.

tell me what fucking business meeting you have that you family attends EVERY FUCKING DAY, waiting in the waiting room, or watching from the next meeting over.

DUMB ASS MOTHERFUCKERS on this board, I swear.

NBA Playoffs always have had a different feeling from regular NBA post game sessions

I was listening to Mike and Mike this morning...

and Jemelle and Mike were on

this negro was about to say if

HIS DAUGHTER LOOKED LIKE STEPH'S HE WOULD HAVE HER ON CAMERA TOO

:hmm:

implying she aint as cute as Riley?

I need someone to find the podcast...

again you can do what you want but I can see both sides and that lookig like good father;s stuff I aint buying...

there are a TON of opportunities to do that.

Hell tell Nike and Gatorade to make a commercial about that

or the NBC players union, Disney TNT all that.

You can walk into the game with them...

but my thing is what does bringing your kid to the press conference have to do with being a good dad?

NBA players bring their wives to games and their jump offs are on the opposite side of the court.

*Chris Rock voice* The kid is two! Fuckin two!??? She two years old! Two! Two? She's a kid! What the fuck is you thinkin...????

this is bgol, man.

every thread has a race-related reference or comment.

if it's not white vs black, it's black vs asian, black vs. latin... or the worst case, light skin black vs dark skin black.

:smh::smh::smh:

this shit is pitiful.

You got grown ass people acting like Stephen brought his daughter in the middle a professional basketball game...it was a fucking press conference...:smh::smh::smh::smh::smh:

Why? It's just a bunch of hypothetical nonsense. ..what if a lion escapes from the zoo and eats your daughter while your at the podium...what if..??? Pitch forks?

Yeah obviously you didn't pay attention to the quote and the reasons for not bringing your child on the podium. :smh: No matter what race or sport and I made that clear. :smh: I DON'T CARE IF IT'S NASCAR, NHL OR THE PGA. LEAVE YOUR CHILDREN OFF THE PODIUM AND FINISH UP WITH WORK. The whole lightskin thing is fuckin stupid.

:itsawrap:

I thought it was more due to who her dad was, than the fact that she was lightskinned. I'm sure Shawn Livingston kid wouldn't have gotten away with that behavior, before GS PR would've hoisted her off stage.... :dunno:
