Starting a clothing line???

me and my homeboy want to start a clothing line. we want to specialize in skateboard apparel. we were thinking that we would print the logo on tees and sell them as a good start up. i just need to know if im going in the right direction and what i should do after this. im in school majoring in business right now and im trying to be businesses smart about this. any help is appreciated
