Mofos in NYC projects live like kings compared to other parts of the country.
NYC has a bigger tax base to part of your taxes go to NYC public housing or the up keep plus they get federal grands from the gov...
I don't follow what you mean by "kings"
How is that? The cash assistance is based on cost of living...so your comparison is moot.
We seen the inside of the high rises on all kinds of news clips and documentaries...come on bruh...
Cost of living be damned, nobody in the projects is living lavish unless they living foul at the same time.
I wanna say something else about your comment but it will offend you, since you claim to be educated.
The fuck is your problem? I thought we having a conversation.. What's with the personal jabs?
What I mean by living like kings is folk in the projects get public assistance from the state of NY and benefit from the up keep of the facility.
I can speak on this shit cause I lived it and having been around the country seeing places like Detriot, Philly, Richmond etc the projects in NYC are better maintained than those I've seen in other cities that's all I'm saying
No, not really. They are letting a lot of the buildings go into disrepair because the city wants the poor people out. They are working to turn the projects into condos for the influx of professionals coming into the city.
This is somewhat true but not all buildings.. It's only the buildings on waterfront property
-They were built in 1956 and demolished by 1975, went from 12,000 families to 2400
The irony of Robert Taylor's father being the first MIT graduate nor his father's role in building college campuses for blacks in Alabama (Tuskeegee, Snow Hill, Rosenwald Schools and other parts of the South is not lost upon me...CACs and nigga ass niggas worked hand in hand to tarnish that man's legacy.
The Robert Taylor homes were fucked too
Watched this documentary again the other day. Damn, these housing projects really only lasted a little over 20 years (1956-1976). It said by 1960 (it's 4th year) that there were already signs of decline
