I can't stand Tim Duncan, but Joe Crawford is a complete asshole. Not just for this incident, but I truly believe that this man thinks fans pay money to come see him. There needs to be some kind of checks and balances for these officials. I know that they are reviewed by the head of officials, but Crawford always gets away with this shit. It pisses me off that coaches and players get fined for criticzing officiating. Officials are part of the game and should be subject the criticism like everyone else. What a fucking douche bag...

Crawford turned around and saw Duncan laughing on the bench after a foul was called against the Spurs.He then proceeded to eject him from the game with his 2nd tech in about 3mins. Let's be real here Tim could have been laughing about anything.
 
I was at the game today I think those were some bullshit technicals. What makes it so bad is that he got both technicals while on the bench!!!!

I'm a Mavs fan and glad they got the win but it was a cheap win since Duncan was kicked out for b/s.
 
I am a Mavs fan but that was still fucked up how they ejected Duncan on some bullshit. Refs have a lil too much power. An ejection like that could have easily been on anybody of either team. How you gonna get mad for somebody laughing? Thats bullshit, cant get mad at the ref and cant laugh it off either. Amare Stoudamire got a tech earlier in the year for just lookin at a ref after he got a foul called on him.
 
That shit pissed me off. That was ridiculous. Like Mark Jackson was saying, you don't know what he was laughing at. San Antonio was still fighting with Phoenix for a second game.

Crawford should have to pay that fine.

I got big props for The Spurs after we faced them in The Finals 2 years ago..
And all props to Dallas and Phoenix for their Fine seasons....But I believe SA got the edge when it comes to the Playoffs(even more after their early exit last year)....

Playoffs should be interesting as regards how much the officials affect the games...maybe today wit Duncan they telegraphin how they gon do things....

A.I. got hit with a bullshit tech earlier in the year. The ref hit him with a foul..he asked if it was on him and the ref said yes. So A.I. went to the bench and the ref T'd him up. Iverson appealed the call and it was removed, but what about the free throw that was shot becuase of the tech? What if they lost by one? How are you going to get that back?

Good Point....cause they will not let you replay the game...or even the minutes that were remaing....So them calls can determine a Win or a Lost....And have thru the season....as well as the no calls when the "favored" team does the exact same thing or worse.....

A good playoff game is a thing of beauty....and these mofo got the power to fuck up a thing of Beauty...wit some dumbshit....It's that dam politics!!

I saw that shit too. You cant have refs out there asking people if they wanna fight. Thats bullshit. Crawford on a fucking power trip and David Stern bitch ass is the reason.

Joe Crawford is and always has been a hothead. He and Steve Javie are the most outrageous refs the NBA has. I remember when Javie ejected damn near the entire Bullets team and the mascot "Hoops" one time. Some of these guys forget that the fans are there to see the players, not to hear whistles blow and exaggerated foul gestures.
 
Joey "I don't pay my taxes" Crawford has always been an asshat, being demonstrative on foul calls and Ts just to draw attention to himself. I'll never forget Charles Barkley killing him in a post game interview, saying Crawford was a "terrible ref and a felon, they should have never let him back in the league(Crawford was banned for 2 years for tax evasion)."
