I honestly feel that black atlantans deal with racism daily. When you have white athletes get their crap swept under a rug (Pat Kerney with the rape at his house and Danny Heatley killing a teammate dunk driving and getting off) and then you see the bloodlust these caucasians have pursuing Mike Vick over some dogs, the double standard becomes a little too much to bear.

The dude that GOT KILLED WAS HIS ROOMATE & PASSENGER IN THE CAR, and his best friend!

The teammate that died as a result of HEATLEY'S ACCIDENT; that teammate's PARENTS DID NOT WANT HEATLEY IN JAIL, THEY TOLD THE BLACK DA IN FULTON CO., "do not put him in jail"!

By not going to jail, the teammates parents allowed HEATLEY to make millions playing hockey, and then PAY THEM FOR THEIR SON'S DEMISE(everybody wins)!

Bringing up white folks stuff don't have shit to do with Vick's STUPID DECISIONS!

In both those case the WHITE ATHLETES "GOT OUT FRONT" of the situation and DIDN'T HIDE BEHIND LAWYERS AND LIE LIKE VICK DID!

Vick made his own situation WORSE, by not "getting out front", and coming clean!

Folks don't care about no DAMN DOGS!

The FEDS see it as an ILLEGAL, FOR PROFIT, BUSINESS ENTERPRISE; i.e. ORGANIZED CRIME!

If you set up an illegal gambling operation up for AAU Basketball, the FEDS don't care about the AAU Basketball, they care about the ILLEGAL GAMBLING!

Other folks that have been charged by the FEDS with the same crime as VICK get pretty much the same sentence IF they plea out; the FEDS don't have much leeway when it comes to sentencing; STATE CRIMES are a different matter, State Judges can damn near do anything they want when it comes to sentencing.

VICK was wrong!

Stop being mad at the SYSTEM; not only was VICK WRONG, but after he got caught HE PLAYED HIS CARDS WRONG; he acted like a BROKE SUSPECT, rather than a RICH SUSPECT!

Vick was the highest PAID player in the game, PLUS HE WAS A QB!

Factor all this in; and MIKE VICK = MICHAEL JORDAN!

This is WHY THE MEDIA COVERAGE IS NOT EQUAL!
