Vick is being charged for the same crime twice which is unconstitutional.. In me eyes, federal law should superceed state law and this shouldn't be allowed.

SWATLANTA, Respectfully bruh, Why are most of the people in the audience in denial about Vick's situation? I think that they are going to far with this coverage but while its on....... It is just like R Kelly in Chicago......

This show is gonna get ugly.....
They(Fed and State) want to make sure Vick loses everything. Even though he was admittedly wrong I think the punishment he will receive will far outweigh the crimes.

I honestly feel that black atlantans deal with racism daily. When you have white athletes get their crap swept under a rug (Pat Kerney with the rape at his house and Danny Heatley killing a teammate dunk driving and getting off) and then you see the bloodlust these caucasians have pursuing Mike Vick over some dogs, the double standard becomes a little too much to bear.

I'm not watching it now...it's taping...but ESPN went to great lengths to make sure the crowd was diverse in opinion.

yeah he will be allowed to play again but jamal lewis didnt do half the time vick is going to do he has not been the same since he was released and vicks position is 10x's harder and he wasnt a good throwing qb from the start so i dont think he will be able to make an effective comeback after his release.

The humane society kills 10+million dogs yearly, and Vick has supposedly killed 8 dogs. Who is really worse ? I pointed this out on a blog at the AJC.com and the white folks in this city made every excuse (while calling me an ignorant darky, dumb n***a etc.) for killing these animals. I asked them to refute my numbers and they couldn't. I explained how horses are shot up with performance enhancing drugs, have a midget placed on their back, and are forced to run full speed for a mile or two all the while being beaten. That is an acceptable sport to them, because it was the white elite that were involved.

From my understanding the humane society has to kill those dogs because
A) no one adopted them after a certain time period and they can't house them there because new dogs are also coming in.
B) The dogs aren't fit, meaning they are too dangerous

I know why they say they have to kill the dogs, but a life is a life IMO. Vick was just getting rid of the dogs that nobody else wanted (for whatever reason). If they (humane society) really cared they would raise money for sanctuaries for the unwanted dogs. The real reason they kill them is because they don't want (or can't afford) to take care of them.
