Speculation on LeBron's 2014 free agency already in high gear!!!

Well explain the following to me:

"He quit," Gilbert said. "Not just in Game 5, but in Games 2, 4 and 6. Watch the tape. The Boston series was unlike anything in the history of sports for a superstar."

Gilbert continued, saying LeBron quit against Orlando in 2009 as well.

"Go back and look at the tape," he said. "How many shots did he take?"
Bruh I'm talking about that letter and that shit that followed it. Dude went straight at his character as a man. Damn near everybody on this birch agreed on how his letter had a master to slave tone to it.

He ain't coming to Dallas bruh

No point in wasting time and letting other players sign elsewhere waiting on him

I'll put it like this contact Lebron first day of free agency, if he on some drawn out decision shit move on immediately

Can't ever get caught up in that again

Ever

Seems like Lebron gave every team a chance to present their case.

I find it funny that the media and people who aren't Cavs fans always have something say about Lebron coming back to Cleveland, as if Cavs fans are begging for him to come back. If he comes back great, if not cool. I can't complain because Stern gave us 2 #1 picks because he left.

The last time LeBron signed (clockwise from top left): First came "The Decision," followed by a celebration at AmericanAirlines Arena, which came moments after his formal signing, on a night that also included his introductory Heat media session. (File) (September 8, 2013)

MIAMI—
Will he or won't he? Having already made one dramatic move in free agency, when he left the Cleveland Cavaliers for the Miami Heat in July 2010, LeBron James again is in position to test NBA free agency in the 2014 offseason.
Will he or won't he? The difference this time around is James is now a two-time defending NBA champion, with the Heat having won titles in 2012 and 2013, advancing to the NBA Finals in each of James' three seasons in South Florida.
Will he or won't he? The answer likely will come later rather than sooner, with just about everyone having an opinion. To that end, the Sun Sentinel offers a regularly updated look at the LeBron speculation across the Web.

"I don't want to go back to cold winters"

As with almost every element of the "LeBron Watch," it's all about reading the signs.
So in advance of LeBron unveiling his limited-edition watch for Audemars Piguet on Friday night, there was this from an interview with Women's Wear Daily, regarding his potential 2014 free-agency plans and where he eventually would look to settle down in retirement:
"I miss the slower pace back home but have grown used to my new city's little perks like fresh fish and sweet fruit. It will definitely be someplace warm. I don't want to go back to cold winters."
LeBron, an Akron native, of course, has been linked to a possible return to Cleveland next summer, as well as a potential move to the Los Angeles Lakers.

LeBron James focused on season not free agency

While the summer of 2014 is on the minds of many basketball fans, LeBron James said he hasn't even given it a thought. The Miami Heat superstar, who could headline next year's bumper crop of free agents, said at this point he doesn't know what he's going to do.

"I have absolutely no idea," James recently told ESPN.com. "I would love to spend the rest of my career in Miami with this great team and great organization as we continue to compete for championships. That's ideal. But we don't know what may happen from now to the end of the season. That's the nature of the business. It's the nature of not knowing what tomorrow brings.

"I mean, as a kid, I never thought the Bulls would break up. Never. If you'd of told me as a kid that [Michael] Jordan and [Scottie] Pippen wouldn't play together for the rest of their lives, I'd have looked at you crazy. And Phil Jackson wouldn't be the coach? I'd have looked at you crazy. But sometimes the nature of the business doesn't allow things to happen like you would want them to. But we'll see."

How dare this nigga speak on the bulls when he left Cleveland

If he was even THINKING about it for a second that's over cuz I was at the Cowboys/Giants game and the crowd booed the SHIT out of Lebron when they showed him on the big Jerry screen :smh:

He was shocked, he took off his Cowboys hat and pointed to it like "hey, I'm a Cowboys fan too" people was still booing

I don't know why people hate Lebron around here :dunno:

I'm thankful for him nutting up in 2011 and clearing the way for our first title

Lebron has done the Dallas Mavericks no wrong I have nothing against him

Honestly speaking, the way James plays now, he might be a completely different player in 2 years, in a sense that his game play might take a toll on his body. Durant might just be the better player in two years.

This. People argued me that he will be fine playing at his current weight but for how long I wonder? Lebron plays at such a high and explosive level at 270 lbs., eventually he will have to consider dropping like 20-30 pounds. He will still be a top 10 talent for at least the next 5 seasons. Father Time is undefeated.

So u ninjas just gonna sit here and act like the nigga ain't getting his post up game ready for when he starts to decline in speed?

Or y'all ninjas just going to forget Bron's bball IQ is through the roof?

In 2 yrs Durant will still be the 2nd best player lmao

If he goes to Cleveland

Smh

He wouldn't go to Cleveland in '14. I've always thought that he was going to leave to get rings elsewhere and go back to Cleveland right before he retires.

Besides even if he did, Cleveland isn't set up to win a ring. They'd still be a player away. (That player may or may not be Bynum.)

So Lebron tired of winning championships in Miami? Is that what we talking about here. I mean why leave? What else is their to accomplish?
