Jamaican music loving kats used to be out there with them big ass speakers blasting Jamaican music all night. Smell herb all through the air....lol. Once again..i was too young to get involved like I wanted to...but i was stil around.
As for the females in Kenwood...both Kenwood and Hyde park got some bad looking females. Hyde Park got a lot of little mulatto broads. Hyde Park is an EXTREMELY diverse area with a lot of mixed couples. When I first moved over here 16 years ago I used to always go up to R Kelly fav pick up spot (KenWood High school) and over to that red park (Harold Washington Park) and holla at a lot of those females. When I first moved over here i thought that a lot of the females were too "stuck up" to talk to....but as I got older I found out that that wasnt the case with all of em. The finest females were easier to talk to than the ugly broads....lol
Funny thing about this area is the fact that its surrounded by hood niggas. I can go 2 blocks from Obama's house and possibly get shot while buying a few sacks of herb....lol. Theres a lot of folks that got kicked out of the projects moving in the area. The folks thats been living in this area for years have been complaining ever since...lol
Yea...there was a strong disconnect between south and west siders....as if we werent in the same city. But honestly, back in my knuckle head dayz, I felt safer in the little time that I did spend out west than I did in the majority of the time that i was out south. The Mexicans, Ricans, etc all showed me love.d they were more so on there money out west instead of all the gangbangin bs.
Back in the dayz i used to hand at "the circle". Used to be a lot of loose broads up there. for some reason yall had a lot of easy female out west. I didnt have a car to show off like the rest of them dudes...but I had the gift of gab...so I had fun...

In Hyde park you will; And a few of the decent areas in Chatham. The south side aint like it used to be. The area is changing..for the worse imho because of the gentrification. You got White folks walking their dogs down King Drive (in the hood spots) ...all by Washington park..etc etc. Like I always state in the Chicago homicide threads...the bs is isolated. But the areas that are bad are REALLY bad. Aint shit in those areas but Homicides, vacant lots, liquor stores, Arabs and Asian folks selling food and bootlegg cloths and thats about it.
BTW...dont get it twisted...the North side got some grimy spots too. The loop and the north side aint the only safe spots in Chicago. Believe it or not...statistically....Chinatown is safer than the loop and the north side. and Chinatown is surrounded by slums.

The Bronzeville area is hit or miss. You gotta be real careful in choosing a spot there.
The Beverly area is very nice. Along with Hyde Park, they are the two premier areas on the southside.
