I've been to Myrtle Beach for 4th of July weekend before.
It's a nice beach and area to dine and hang out with the fam.
House of Blues is down there.
There's a few nice but naked strip clubs down there
I remember a place called Deriere's (sp?) that I went to years ago. Hopefully it is still around.

If you're taking the fam Broadway at the Beach has something fun for everyone. Restaurants, nightlife, etc.
