nets want augustin and bobcats dont want to deal him so...thats a snag....it comes down to that if the bobcats say no the deal falls apart...so jordan can save or screw the nets with one swoop...larry will save the nets b/c he hates the knicks...nets fans better pray jordan says yes.

i'm fine with this move tho...just means we give gallo more shots...he can go shot for shot with anyone in the league...now the knicks can address the shoot guard spot...maybe go after oj mayo or monta ellis...1 thing for sure the era of the knicks just throwing money around is over...we sign smart free agents and build thru the draft got a solid core just missing a stud at sg and possibly pg...

the nets made a good move but losing favors and depending on murphy might bite them and we'll see if jordan farmar is starting pg material and yeah twill is as good as gone....nets gonna cut themselves in the next few yrs and still have to resign lopez in 2 yrs and get cp3 which would be impossible without renouncing lopez but not my worry...good luck net fans...

Now in 2010-11. Brook is at least the second best center in the league in his third year and we have shooters. So we daring teams to double either Melo or Brook.

the article says he is believed to have approved the extension....it didnt say he HAS approved the extension....i know the english language is difficult for some....at the end of the day its a rumor.

by keeping Murphy we get 13 millions off our books. Not even including the contracts of Ross and Hump.

So that 17 million this summer to play with.

Plus that doesn't even count against the money we used to extend Lopez.

no, den wasn't interested in trading him to the knicks...they wanted to send him to a bad team and force him to carry them...but the nets pulled an end around and didn't get gutted, favors and lopez and jarvis hayes are nothing...plus the picks will be high at least for a yr...the knicks have a good shot of making the playoffs the nuggets wanted to send melo to where he may not make the playoffs...its gonna be interesting...melo is a superstar we'll see if he can carry the nets then den made a bad trade if not den came out a winner. the knicks will develop our youth keep our cap space and sign players down the line like a sg and a pg to help us...

ur not counting the new cba under this cba ur right but under the new cba the cap may go down a bit... melo 21mil over what 6yrs? cp3 18mil over 5yrs lopez since he's your own 21mil not counting having to sign odd yr 1st rounders and filling the roster...i mean twill at sg is good if he develops unless he's traded for cp3 then cp3 is 21mil a season...3 players at 21 mil? thats even over the cap right now.

... look at miami, all 3 of those guys is signed for 6-7 with opt out after 4...at least two of them won't be in miami all 6-7 yrs b/c they won't be able to maintain any type of team for that long its win now... if nj makes these moves they need to win by melo's 4th yr or he's gone too...i mean its interesting...its funny our teams roles reversed...u wanted the nets to build thru picks now b/c the knicks are missing 1 pick we r gonna rebuild thru the draft lolol...the nets are the new knicks with the big spending big trades... its interesting to see...

so what's the point of staying Denver again?
NJ has an owner who will spend to win, a good coach and Brook Lopez

was reported already when they tried to move melo to the kings or the twolves...melo shut that shit down quick, thats where the no extension no trade thing came from....if melo hadn't said that he'd be a king or a twolve now...plus melo was dumb telling ppl he wanted the knicks and his wife did that shit too plus the whole cp3 wedding toast...the nuggets were never gonna deal him to the knicks EVER....their owners are spiteful dudes...now melo goes to nj...the knicks offer was a good one but the nuggets refused and at one point were phone dodging with the knicks then they got the bulls involved but wanted to gut the bulls too chi said no...knicks at one point offered chandler, gallo, walker, buki & td and a 2014 1st nuggets said no now they get diaw, ak, favors and a few 1st rounders... the knicks offer was better but again the nuggets were never gonna deal with the knicks... nothing the knicks could do...

Melo ass could have been patient and waited till Feb and Dec but this nigga is in some kind of rush to get out of Denver.

my understanding is they don't want to work with NY because NY doesn't have a 1st round pick in next year's draft. if NY can get a draft pick between tonite and Monday they are back in the mix..

had he waited folks woulda clowned him for trying to be bigger than the team and he would have been eaten up by critics.

all he did was refuse to sign the extension and have his reps ask for a way out before the season. he's pretty clean business wise

he wants the $ + the new team. if it was about the new team he woulda just waited until the summer. he wants the financial security. i hope he's got a pre-nup.
