The point I was making is that Black folks willing give personal information to companies for their own interest and providing unreliable and possibly false information in return.
If you want to get accurate information on your ancestry, it means actually taking time and asking all members of your family along with taking time and checking historical records kept by state and local governments that keep track of social security numbers, birth/death certificates, marriage/divorce licenses, property deeds, estates, etc.
Giving a sample of your DNA to a company that you have no idea who they are and what they are doing with your DNA sample makes no sense whatsoever.
It’s like getting a email from a Prince in Africa saying give me your bank account/routing number and I will send you a million dollars.

Got pictures of my great great great grandparents and whoooo they white as hell
On moms side first people to touch down here in the states were geechi down to the eye color
Went to the local African store and got some pure elderberry and showed the Nigerian guy that owns it and he says it's a big mixture for Nigeria because people traveled so much in those days

I know the feeling. I always knew my 3rd+ grandfathers are white, it was never hidden. But what surprise was I carried the white paternal DNA, it can only be changed to next generation if my daugther's children are of another race and the man does not carry the white dna. DNA of child is determine by mother and not the dad.
Got a lot of Haitian as well
