Sony Using PGR 3 to Promote the PlayStation 3 Again

Not so long ago, we discovered Sony using a screenshot of Project Gotham Racing 3 to promote Gran Turismo 4 for the PlayStation 3 (Gran Turismo HD Concept). As soon as Sony discovered their mistake, they removed the embarrassing image and replaced with one taken from GT4.

Well, this time the fraud is more obvious as Sony and one of its promotion partners, KIA Motors, is using a screenshot from PGR3 that has a Ferrari on the starting line, with a PGR plate!

The Spanish site is hosting a promotion to test real cars and their digital counterparts in any KIA dealer. We wonder if they will use a PlayStation 3 for the tests or an Xbox 360 loaded with PGR 3…

I read that this wasn't made by Sony but by a company trying to sell the PS3.

Whomevers fault this is they fucked up, bigtime. I can't see Sony being responsible for this though.

The image of the PS3 is from Sony. That's all they got permission to use. If some guy at KIA decided to put up a fake screenshot and got it from a game the PS3 doesn't play, it isn't Sony's fault.
