Sony PS6 start saving up now

Believe it or not it’s been out for 6 yrs now.. 2020 release.. in a few months will be 2027.. that’s 7 yrs.. it’s been out a longtime by gaming standards

Yeah but because of the pandemic and the supply chain issues then and now it's definitely throwing our timeline off of what we think of hardware cycles. Like PS4, came out and sure they were scare for like the first 9-12 months, then shit normalized, you might even get a discount on a unit for black friday. About 4 years in, we got ps4 pro, xbox upgraded too but they were like "normal" prices and the base systems dropped to like $199. The value of what you were buying increased. This gen hasn't been like that.

Like I said this is why a certain demographic of Sony consumers are saying ps5 will be the last system they will purchase from sony

When I said their last I was talking about the consumer.. some consumers are saying ps5 would be their last Sony purchase cause they not feeling the all digital format and them not being able to own a physical copy… it’s still a mostly digital purchase audience, but it’s a nice size demographic like 10-20 percent of Sony consumers that’s physical copy buyers only/mostly

Man I have the version with the dic drive. And I have yet to buy a disc.
