Sons Of Anarchy The Final Season!!! Official Thread. HOLY SHIT!

It came to me today besides Jax looking like a the reaper before he killed August, the real beauty in that scene was the shook look on August face before Jax shot him. He was like "This white boy done lost it, broad daylight all these fucking witnesses he aint give no fucks"

and the homeless woman gave him the same damn blanket from when he visited his fathers grave in the first season.

For the most part this sums it up for me.

SOA was entertaining to watch but was never brilliant. It almost had a video game feel to it IMO, like GTA or Saints Row so I could never take it too serious.

But I was always entertained though.

I didn't like the ending but I understood it.

I personally was rooting for the brother so knowing Jax was dying I was hoping August and his crew took him out and got a win lol.

I wish shows would take a cue from shows like Game of Thrones or even Walking Dead. Waiting until the last season to kill characters makes it very anti climactic. The only main character killed that had impact was Opie. Juice's death had no impact and Gemma and Unser dying was obvious.

What was with the homeless chick who gave Jax the blanket at the courthouse? Was she the same homeless chick Gemma saw at the truck stop?

And also whats was the meaning of the crows eating the bread at Jax death scene?

i understand and agree with most of your points...

but Tara's death was jaw dropping and completely out of left field.

Clay's death felt a little muted because he escaped so many times before and it wasn't REALLY that dramatic.

And Opie's WIFE'S death pretty much drove the rest of the series...

that fed obsessed with Tara, or the fed blackmailing Opie

the sheriff's wife's miscarriage

the 2nd Sheriff's BRUTAL death...

SOA has had some of the BEST death's on recent TV history pushing the limits of basic cable rivaled only by Nip/Tuck and The Shield.

Right. That's a good comparison. It was basically a live action GTA.

I disagree with you though about deaths. Its on the level of Game of Thrones in regards to main characters getting killed. I thought Tara's death was impactful, Gemma's, Uncer....Juice you sort of knew it was coming but still.....and of course Op's. Clay's death.....the show was built around him. He was probably the most popular actor on the show....or atleast prior to the show. They bodied some main characters.

I don't mind it but I think Game of Thrones and Sons did body main characters just for the fuck of it. When you do it so much it sort of starts to lose its shock value. That's where Game of Thrones is at now.

i had read on another forum where someone wrote that if you think about it,everything that was set in motion in the later seasons was Bobby's fault..if he hadnt been fucking Otto's wife while the latter was in prison,Otto wouldnt have turned on the gang and set Tara up for that murder later(of Tariq's sister)

^^^^

but then you could go further and say EVERYTHING is Gemma's fault gassing up Clay to kill her husband hiding from Jax and the club and when Tig was going crazy using his crush on her to quiet him, same thing for Unser and lying about the Chinese, convincing Vic Makey to drive her to her Dad's going off schedule and essentially being available for Jax to get run over.etc.

That is what is great about this show EVERYONE had dirty hands.

FINAL QUESTIONS:

1. What was up with Jax's leg in the final episode?

2. Who killed Gemma's crows?

3. Who put the knife through the teddy bear and wrote that note?

4. How were they able to pull Jax's son from school and move to another country with an open abuse case from child services's?

1) I still don't understand that shit.
2&3) You have to be the only person wondering about that.
4)They were going to another part of California.

about 2,3 some people say Marks some say Abel...

speaking of GTA

I'm not saying it's not a loose end but it seemed insignificant(as far as plot goes) considering the thousand other ridiculous plot holes in the show. Either one would make sense. I thought it was Abel into someone said it might have been Marx. I just don't care either way.

a few observations:

-black(t.o)had to get w/a white program to

ensure survival.

-jackson was selfish in his death(someone else killed him)

-speaking of which truck driver took gemma to final destination.

took out jackson on his final destionation.(mother & son made others kill them).

Like I said before, the ending would be str8 wack juice.

Who didn't predict him killing himself when he relived SAMCRO from Mr. Mayhem.

And driving into that oncoming truck, who saw that coming?

The fact that it was driven by the same trucker that met up with Jemma didn't give it juice.

And the predictable killings of Marks, the Irish, Barosky.

Nice to see the Sons finally let a brother into the group and all these years. 'Keep Hope Alive!'

And watching the entire police force peacefully chase down a murderous fugitive for miles without all out blasting him in the midst of the current Ferguson climate rubs me the wrong way.

This shit was corny.

you also could say that the remaining SAMCRO members are now dead men walking..Chinese and IRA are still out there

HERE'S A FINAL QUESTION

Why the fuck would they take a dramatic mayhem vote when they knew they weren't going to kill Jax?

I was thinking initially that chibs was the only one who knew but no one reacted surprised when happy got hit. So whats all the drama for?:rolleyes:

Also what was Jax going to do if a truck hadn't come around the corner? Dude was driving like OJ that was the slowest police chase in tv history:lol: then he sees the truck and looks like...hey I got an idea. So what was gonna happen if the truck didn't come around...just drive till he runs out of gas??

I agree. Like I said, Jax always has a plan.

To your first question: That was all for Dramatic TV purposes. They had to have the Mayhem vote to ensure The other charters know they voted the right way. Happy was shot to make it look like Jax escaped.

To your 2nd question: I think Jax wanted to get gunned down, but like you said they wasnt shooting at him, he saw the truck and saw opportunity.

A better question is do high way cops shoot anyone on that show? I thought for sure Juice was dead.

This song from the season 3 finale is still my favorite.

In real life if him or Juice bust at the Sheriff, they wouldn't make it a mile without a led bath.

Sutter himself wrote the finale's end song

Come Join The Murder-The Forest Rangers

"JESUS..!!!"
Perfect song...

This was my first time watching the show live without commercials....I also knew the spoilers...

After watching it again....

Shit was done nice....

I get Jax putting on the 'hot' plates on the bike...

The ending of him talking to his dad and saying Gemma had her plans goes perfect with the song....

My opinion...others my feel different....

That's a good point but Gemma was such a lost soul......she was always gonna be the demise of Jax and the gang.

so was the homeless lady the angel of death?

was she jesus(LOL), w/the bread & wine! it(show) went out on good note.

now one day i can & will watch all seasons, have never rewatched any.
