I think you might be on to something here, the episode John 8:32 might be the precursor/foreshadowing for everything.
Gemma's confession to Nero, says she believes she had a part in JT's death, but this season, with Jury, it does not fit. Plus there had been in previous seasons that JT knew his bike like the back of his hand.
But Gemma's confession is what is happening. The same cycle.

I think only way Gemma confesses to Nero is if something drastic happens like if Abel tries to Kill Gemma, her shock will make her tell Nero.
She would just make excuses for it, "he was just playing, I'm fine. "The bitch is treacherous in the WORST way.
