Songs that hit in certain regions.

After being in the underrated Marvin Gaye song thread, I realized that a song that was a banger in certain regions, mainly the South & Midwest, but was not in others. In fact, it was banned in some areas. So, it gave me an idea to ask what songs were banging in your region back in the day, that you don't think it was hitting in others. I'll start. These songs were big in the ATL back in the 80s. These are just a couple. What about your region?

Good question but I wouldn't know right off of hand cause we would be force fed everything coming from NYC and then if it was hot in the streets it still might not make it our way.

In Atlanta, we had a lot of local acts, and acts from the Midwest, NYC, and L.A. hit here. Here's another one.
