A fan’s arrest has seemingly not stopped others from throwing sex toys at WNBA games.
In two separate incidents on Tuesday night, what appeared to be green dildos were thrown at Barclays Center during the Liberty-Wings contest and at Crypto.com Arena, where the Fever lost 100-91 to the Sparks, as seen in videos that went viral on social media.
In the Los Angeles game, the green object reached the court and appeared to hit or nearly touch Fever star Sophie Cunningham as Indiana prepared to inbound the ball under the opposing basket late in the second quarter.
Sparks star Kelsey Plum kicked the object off the playing surface.
During the Liberty’s 85-76 win over the Wings, a sex toy was allegedly thrown at the game but did not reach the court, according to a fan’s video of the incident.
The Liberty declined comment when sought by The Post.
The latest two incidents come amid a spate of sex toys being thrown onto the floor at recent games, with both Cunningham and Sky star Angel Reese being vocal in their displeasure.
“Stop throwing dildos on the court,” Cunningham posted on X over the weekend. “You’re going to hurt one of us.”
One 23-year-old fan, identified as Delbert Carver, according to multiple reports, was arrested for throwing an object at the July 29 Dream-Valkyries game in Atlanta.
He was charged with disorderly conduct, public indecency/indecent exposure and criminal trespass, according to Cleveland.com.
What appeared to be a sex toy was thrown on the court at the Fever-Sparks game.
Isabelle Harrison told The Post on Sunday that the objects present a safety issue that players should not have to deal with.
“I think you just have to continuously prioritize the players, because it’s obviously safety, but also just so immature to me, like, I just hate that that’s being attached to our brand and our name,” Harrison said. “This is like, let’s be professional here. I get the jokes, and things can be funny, but it just gets to a point.

“So like, I’m just really over it, and I know other players are over it.”
Harrison said she had never experienced something being thrown on the court during a game.

“It just wasn’t even a thought because I’ve never experienced it,” she said. “So the fact that it’s not only just a [bottle] top or a shoe, it’s something to that extent… it just annoys me. … [People] might think it’s a joke, but we also have to think big picture, and a lot of people want to, like you said, I don’t take this lightly. What my job is, it’s not a joke. I know a lot of other players feel like that, too. So we just need to take it more serious.”

A second man has been arrested for throwing a green sex toy at a WNBA game, a trend in which there are now five known incidents.
Kaden Lopez, 18, was arrested Wednesday after police said he was caught on video throwing the object toward the court at the Phoenix Mercury's game against the Connecticut Sun, according to Fox 10 Phoenix. The object did not reach the court, instead hitting a fan who was at the game with his 9-year-old niece.
Lopez was reportedly booked into jail on suspicion of disorderly conduct, assault and public display of explicit sexual material.

Lopez reportedly apologized for his actions and described them as a "stupid prank that was trending on social media." Documents reportedly show he bought the sex toy on Monday to take it to the game.
The man who was struck by the toy reportedly wants Lopez prosecuted, as do the WNBA and the operators of the Mercury's PHX Arena:
The first known incident occurred July 29, when a toy landed on the court at a Golden State Valkyries-Atlanta Dream game. Similar objects have made it to the courts at a Chicago Sky and Los Angeles Sparks game, with the latter thrown in the direction of Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham on Tuesday.
On the same night as that Sparks game, sex toys were also thrown at a New York Liberty game and the Mercury game, with both staying in the stands.

Overall, the WNBA has taken a very dim view toward these people, warning that anyone who does this will face immediate ejection, criminal charges and a minimum one-year ban from games. Some players were amused by the first couple incidents, but others have raised safety concerns, including Cunningham.
Sparks coach Lynne Roberts also blasted the activity as simply idiotic:
Similar concerns were raised by Buffalo Bills employees a few years ago about the trend of throwing sex toys on the field at New England Patriots games.
All of these incidents have created questions of security for the WNBA. So far, the league has announced no changes, though it's possible the threat of prosecution and public identification could aid prevention going forward.
