Hey ladies this is the deal, I'm trying to get my girl a handbag or purse for Christmas, but we were talking and she said she doesn't give a damn if its real or not, as long as its cute and of good quality. So instead of me spending a lot on one real bag, I wanted to see if I could find a few decent replicas online. I know I can find a chick that has those purse parties and shit, but I wanted to keep my options open.

If anyone knows of a nice site, just hit me up, thanks!

Are you in or near NYC by any chance? If so go to Canal Street.
I don't know any websites.

I buy my handbags from 4 sites generally but I prefer Endless.com.

www.zappos.com
www.nordstrom.com
www.endless.com
www.activeendeavors.com

if you want to get her something real then try Cole Haan (www.plazatoo.com) or bloomingdales, or Dooney and Burke.

Also www.yoox.com is one my favorite sites and they ship direct from milan, everything is authentic. I buy most of my designer clothing from there if i don't get hooked up from a friend.

either that or make friends w someone who works at LVMH :D

you really shouldn't buy fakes or counterfeits for many socioeconomic reasons but if you insist try

www.redtagparty.com
http://www.designersimports.com/

or just go on ebay... ebay sells fakes without even telling you they are fake. if you live in nyc then go to many street corners - they now sell fake goyard bags. :smh:

Dont buy fake!!
A lot of these fakes Jordans bags and purses support terrorism!!!!!
Ask anyone in Ny and they will tell u Arabs had the shit locked down, but now its the Africans and from what i hear they still work for Arabs!!

Hey the Chinatown bags I buy are excellent quality and they cost me $15 to 25. I am not into names so I could give a fuck about that. I care about the quality of the leather and the lining. Anyway I have many friends in Chinatown and basically all those $300 and up name brand bags are all made in China or Taiwan and alot of the ones selling in Chinatown are the exact same ones from the exact same factory minus the huge markup.
Then of course there are the incredibly tacky fake Louis Vuitton bags with the fucking cherries on them and shit :puke:

They all get them from the Chinese.
You have got to be joking with "support terrorism"  :smh:
Buying from the multinational corporations at ridiculously inflated prices is supporting the REAL terrorists.

yea the REAL GOOD quality ones are usually in some discreet building where u gotta kno someone to get in...if u can find it on the street then chances are they not the good ones.

The first time i was brought to one was on like 29th st or somethin and i swear u they had tight as security with codes and everything!! When i got in and saw tht shit i was Jackpot!! They had ALL luie bags, coach gucci etc...even boots umbrellasa and luggage!!!!

Since my sis works for the Govt and told me that they fund terrriorism and so do those Chicken shacks....i stopped supportin that stuff

Umm yea the chinese make it no doubt, but if U was from NY and been to the spots a few years ago u would know that Arabs ran that shit until the cops shut it all down!!!

You right about the ridiculous prices....but those corps arent terrorists just crooks!

Yea - it's like buying a fake watch. Small children in China work long hours to make that fake Cartier watch. and if you go to have it fixed at the store (if it's a gift and you don't know it's fake) they will confiscate it. same with LV. LV spends over $2MM a year on legal for this reason.

but Bigirl that's not completely true for brand names unless you are talking Coach or around that price range. i worked for a top designer (known for his suits and couture line) for 2 years. i was in finance, so i did everything from pay the stores bills to paying for the merchandise direct from Milan. everything comes from about 8 vendors, many of which the designer owns a piece of and i would have to reconcile payment with. i know for a fact that everything comes from Milan or switzerland (it's nearby) EXCEPT the sunglasses, they are made by an American vendor, who makes about 60% of all designer sunglasses. They are called Safilo.
same thing with Aeffe, which owns Moschino, Jean Paul Gautier, Narcisco Rodriguez, Alberta Ferretti - we shared shoe/bag vendors! the biggest proof is that many of the gator or lizard skin shoes get stuck in customs on the way to the US. fakes don't have that problem.

and while you DO pay an 80% markup, the cost of goods is much higher. for example, a $1500 purse costs the company about 250-300. keep in mind the person who made is working for a living wage though.

THREATS AND RESPONSES: THE MONEY TRAIL; Fake Goods Support Terrorism, Interpol Official Is to Testify

By DAVID JOHNSTON
Published: July 16, 2003

Groups like Al Qaeda and Hezbollah have turned to trafficking in counterfeit consumer goods, like fake Nike shoes, Sony stereo equipment and Calvin Klein jeans, says the top official at Interpol, who is scheduled to testify about the issue on Wednesday at a Congressional hearing.

''The link between organized crime groups and counterfeit goods is well established,'' states the written testimony by Ronald K. Noble, the secretary general of Interpol, to be presented at the House Committee on International Relations. ''But Interpol is sounding the alarm that intellectual property crime is becoming the preferred method of funding for a number of terrorist groups.''

The booming international trade in phony consumer goods has long been known and its links to terrorist groups often suspected by government agencies. But Congressional officials said that Mr. Noble's testimony was the first by a senior law enforcement official to conclude emphatically, on a global basis, that the trade in counterfeit consumer products financed terrorism.

Mr. Noble's appearance is the first time an Interpol secretary general has testified to a Congressional panel. A former senior official at the Justice and Treasury Departments, Mr. Noble took over in 2000 at Interpol, which coordinates information among police and security services in 181 countries.

I actually didnt care about it at the time, i was makin a killin with throwback jerseys and bags like 4 yrs ago... i had so many connects with arabs, but after i was in the buildin when it got raided and then i found out about the funding terrorism i stopped complete

Umm yea the chinese make it no doubt, but if U was from NY and been to the spots a few years ago u would know that Arabs ran that shit until the cops shut it all down!!!

the chinese always ran it. you would just see the arabs and africans on the street. they get the bags from the chinese. i have spent half my life in NY and have done TONS of business with the chinese in chinatown. i know what the fuck i am talking about on this one.

www.zappos.com , and sometimes www.ebags.com has some okay purses...

However, if you have the time, I would try hitting up a discount department store like Century 21, Marshalls, TJ Maxx, etc. I've found some really good purses there for cheap... the ones here in Charlotte are selling some Coach and Dooney and Burke (neither label am I into, but I know women here go crazy for it). Personally, I prefer a company out of NJ called Latico Leathers... real good craftsmanship and classic designs that last...

Relax!!! No one is denying who makes it........but Arabs have a large stake at purchasing large quantities and being responsible to smuggle it into the country
(Arabs trying to take over ports in NJ/NY)...this is their way of makin US money that is NOT traceable.
Who is making these fake newports and condoms?? who knows The chinese in china town prob got connects back home and just trying to make some money, BUT a large percentage of counterfeit goods is funding terrorism. So your connects may be terrorist free who knows??
I was just trying to spread a little knowledge to those who may care.

no, you don't know what your talking about. terrorism isn't just a domestic issue. it's much bigger than US involvement in funding terrorist factions. i understand your point of view but you really need to do your research.

at least all my shit is real.

i guess ignorance is bliss but im sorry, i have a conscience.

do a search on illuminati bilderberg bohemian grove skull&bones knights templar IG Farben corp and then check your "conscience" again :hmm:

I think your beating a dead horse. Some people believe everything they see on TV and read in the papers. For those of you who don't know, the US propaganda machine is alive and well. Bigirl is correct.

Propaganda is the reason why were in Iraq. Yeah the American public bought that one on the heels of 9/11. Our presence there has little to do with the war on terror. People never question what the see or read. If it's in the NY Times then it has to be the truth.

Yeah right!:smh:

Thank you. I gave them the tools to educate themselves if they wish and with that I am done. I have no patience for brainwashed sheeple. :smh:

You can make a conspiracy theory on anything in this world...whos right and whos wrong???
All i know is i have fam who investigates these certain individuals, so they are getting paid so its at least true.

Search terrorism and counterfeits and theres a TON of articles numbers and facts about this

And some people make a conspiracy of anything....I do agree this war is bullshit and so is alot of political crap.

Im not saying i disagree with Bigirl BUT i been there and done it, had contact with these people and have family that is getting paid well to investigate this and thats there only focus!

The truth is we will prob never know the truth about anything. I do know all those buildings with all those Arabs are no longer there....if u was making thousands of dollars daily and you were use to the possibility of being raided and getting arrrested daily, then why stop? I knew many of them personally, had thier numbers and even had lunch together, are they bad people? who knows but some way the money they was makin was tied into terrorism!

Thanks for the info Jo. I will check out Latico leathers- my mom is really into good handbags.

the biggest reason i don't buy fake shit is bc of the labor involved. the person making it is probably making 37 cents an hour, under 18 and most likely foregoing their education to make money. by buying it, you support that. that isn't propaganda and w/ CAFTA in place it's worse now in central america than ever.

and honestly, i just can't understand why you would want to buy fake items. it just looks bad. if you can't afford it then buy a coach bag.

what you are not overstanding is that all the name brand goods are made in the same sweatshops. they just jack up the price alot more so its even worse.
i keep trying to tell you the chinese and tiawanese who work in the factories pinch some off the side and send it to their people here. same fucking bag. i really really can't stand amerikkkans. so dumb and brainwashed no wonder you are in the trouble you are in :smh:

like i said before ignorance is bliss. keep shopping at the gap, & keep the koreans paid.

matter fact while i was cooking and i thought about it. not everyone gets the good stuff. if you want me to hook you up i can. i can give you some vera wang tops (not simply vera), some armani jeans tops (good for nighttime) , or some moschino wallets? let me know. i think u are in brooklyn too so as long as you are under size 10 you can have some free unworn italian made clothing. that way you don't have to go to dirty canal st anymore.

i'm sorry that you can only afford clothing from china. like i said before ignorance is bliss. keep shopping at the gap, & keep the koreans paid.
 typical arrogant amerikkkan response. not a matter of what i can or cannot afford but a matter of what i choose to spend my money on. sorry you like to spend 400 on something that really costs 20. thats the amerikkkan way.
the gap is straight garbage and i would rather support koreans than amerikkkans or white devil europeans. your ignorance is astounding. READ THE LABELS OF YOUR NAME BRAND GOODS AND SEE WHERE THEY MADE I was in the fashion industry for years and I had several shops. All your Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, etc are all made by the same manufacturer then they put the different labels on it. Applies to clothing, shoes, accesories, anything mass produces. Since you have so much $ and such a "conscience" then you should be buying one of a kind couture only. Good luck to you. You amerikkkans SO dumb in your arrogance I can do nothing but :smh: :hmm:
