SOL,

I have an organization called Fair Slate Inc. www.fairslate.org

I need to get the word out to everyone who has a felony on their criminal record to visit this NON PROFIT site and send in their information for membership.

We all know ex-felons dont get a break so this organization does give them one. It creates working enterprises owned, operated and managed by nothing but people with criminal felony records. It gives them a chance to have their own business and be a part of something that they make happen.

There are laws that affect people with criminal records so I am trying to get ex-felons to sign up so that we have the numbers to have a voice. Now that some people with felonies can now vote it makes sense to join together.

if you know someone in this category please have them visit

www.fairslate.org eventually the sign up will be at the site but I dont know how to do that so until I get that expertise I am accepting the emails and manually inputting them into a database.

Thank you for your help in advance.

If this comes up in coversation I'll definitely mention this website. It's nice to hear of solutions instead of pointless complaints all the time.

I have to agree with the first two replies. Good luck on getting the word out- if I come across anyone I will pass the word, but I know no one with felonies...

So far, I know 2 felons. One is locked up for life with no parole, the other was deported. Now I have a couple of questions for you.

Are ALL felons allowed to participate in your group? (murderers, rapists, drug offenders, etc.) If not, what are the exceptions?

I need these questions answered before I can support your efforts

I think the most prominent felony charge in our communities are drug related.. usually crack/weed... Its not fair that crack/excessive amounts of weed lead to felony charges whereas cocaine is a misdemeanor.. Not supporting drug dealing.. it jut ain't fair..
