Had something similar happen to me back around '89 or '90 in elementary school.
There was a sports card collection store about 15 mins on foot from school. A few of us went there to buy our cards, and then down the street to a corner store that had all the candy. We bought a whole bunch of stuff and had the great idea to RESELL a bunch of it for a profit. We did just that, made a good amount of money at recess or lunch hour ... until we got ratted out, lol. The stuff we bought for $0.10 - 0.25 we would resell for a dollar. Shit like that ...
