Tik Tok Ban is now a catchy phrase but have you really put some thought behind it?
Google can easily with a few line of code sandbox Tik Tok and other apps on your phone. It let FAANG, Facebook, Twitter (New Ownership may have changed policy), and other apps have free reign for years to siphon off your data, rather than giving user free choice. It is just going to kick this platform off to allow the other spyware to continue taking your data without a choice. Based on allegation, China is exploiting the features that Android provides to U.S. based companies. Google is a monopoly.
There is also an India and China dispute which resulted in India banning Tik Tok. Guess who runs Google and Microsoft? Google was kicked out of China, still has a major presence in India, Indian employee dominate Google workforce, and their CEO is from India.
I was looking at the influencers with 50-100 million followers, if Youtube claims you don't have any followers yet Tik Tok is showing millions of people, you are being shadow banned. Getting rid of Tik Tok will impact what we see on other platforms since Youtube has to be in sync with the results that Tik Tok is showing.
If you want to mask your identity, you can create a content creator account with your name and a private one to view content.
