It's the hazing moment, and after that, you're part of the crew.
Saw that shit happen on a golf course. Squirrel got caught slipping out in the open....between two trees on the ground.....hawk swooped down and squirrel made a mad dash....ran to one of the trees and got up the trunk about six feet trying to run around the trunk....hawk made a swirl around the tree, snatched his dumb ass and took him to the ground....about 4 or 5 quick machine pecks to the eye region and it was squirrel stew.
I actually know someone JUUUUUST like this. We used to be tight in the 90's....but he never grew up. Shit is sad

An owl just caught a rabbit in my yard two nights ago. Found a cleanly decapitated rabbit on my lawn yesterday morning so I checked the cameras and saw it go down (was clean enough i thought it might have been some racist intimidation shit from my neighbors). Don't know why he didn't finish eating so I grabbed a showel and moved him outside my lot into the woodline. I'm sure the other birds will handle him.
I ain't turning my back on Buck. Nope.
I can swim but I'd kill someone if I saw that doing this.
