I had a neighbor that used to bother us everyday knocking on the door for something. Semi crackhead, but their family and ours have been in the same neighborhood as long as I can remember. So one day I lend him 20.00. "I'll pay you back. I'll put it in your mail box. " "No give it directly to me or my brother." I was good for 5 years. He's come back once or twice recently, but he is no way near as annoying as before. That was the BEST 20 bucks I've ever spent.
