I think about this whenever I'm out and the server brings a sizzling pan to a table and has to let you know it's hot. I know it's hot, but I guarantee there's some asshole that looks at bubbling grease and doesn't comprehend...or they're thinking "payday".
The same amount of accidents happen because not only do you still have the dickheads trying to beat the light, you know have the people that slam on their brakes. Thousands of dollars in repairs or a $100 ticket...it's not a hard decision to make.
