The shit that killed my friend 3 years back.
He was a heroin addict for nearly 30 years, and died from fentanyl-laced coke in his apt building's stairwell in his early-40s.
Back when he was a teen and running with the wrong crowd in the 90s friends of the family were saying this won't end well (they saw him dying young). Some detox and prison stints over his lifetime. Never would commit to N.A. or proper recovery as he "didn't have a problem" like the older people he'd see in recovery.
