I do a fish fry each year and sometimes I have a rabbit or two from my nieces who do that farm animal shit for Future Farmer's of America (FFA)....my chef breads them bad boys up and drops them in the fryer....yes sirrrr.
And by the say....many of the top restaurants in my city serve braised rabbit with pasta or dumplings.
