In the early days of hip-hop, (‘83 or ‘84) my friend told me about a new hip-hop show called Bass Masters. He hadn’t seen it but heard it was dope. In DC , it came one at like 5am on a Saturday to watch it. My dumb ass stayed up to check it out only to be met with this:
