Go ahead and keep voting Democrat. We can't even have plastic straws and bags in NYC.
Conflating issues.

The judge in the case saw the dashcam video and faulted the cop for not even looking under the hood / around the car to verify there were modifications AS THEY ARE TRAINED TO DO,.....

This was a PD trying to make a quota, because the car owner said there was a cop that had already pulled another vehicle over ahead of him. Looking back, it appeared the cops just sat along this strip trying to find people to ticket for anything.

I read the reddit article. He didn't beat the case. He ended up having to get rid of the car. Hyundai reimbursed him in full because of all the publicity. And yes that policy is just a money grab by the democrat politicians using the police as foot soldiers. Right now in nyc they're pushing through congestion pricing. Just another money grab on the poor and middle class that they claim to be looking out for.

So you're saying the issues the community at large has with Police / Policing is a di43ct result of the Democrats and their politics?! Oh ok fam.

As far as beating the case, he didn't "have" to get rid of the car. Hyundai offered to buy it back for the price he paid.....(probably due to the publicity, but still) getting a company to give you tour money back on a car that has nothing wrong with it after driving it off the lot and putting a few thousand miles on it, is an incredible opportunity....unless it's a Demon / Hellcat / rare new Vette....etc, you take it.

His final court appearance was in late April or May, I believe. There is no update since then. ....it's safe to say the judge threw it out since he no longer owns the vehicle and can no longer be legally compelled to "repair" it.
