FUN FACT: I used to work for the company that invented this process, Insituform. They had the patent until 1996. They were a monopoly. You can do sewer pipes big enough to drive a truck through with this process. The rub is it's super expensive and most municipalities would rather dig up a street to replace a pipe rather than use this "no dig" method.
There is resin/catalyst mixture inserted into the felt liner of the bag. You recirculate 180 degree water inside the pipe and the catalyst reacts and hardens the resin....BOOM, new pipe without digging up the street or yard or whatever.
