They can get fined or sued. You have to make it explicitly clear that the person consents to being on the air.

Ain't that a bitch. Leonard Nimoy was pissed that he couldn't shake Spock for shit. We'll have to see if anybody else who has played a Vulcan feels typecast in one way or another.

Man I think it's a bit of a blessing that those Star Trek fans aren't all up in your ass 24/7. William Shatner is Captain Kirk forever, even with the new remakes with Chris Pine... people see Shatner and go crazy.
I think that Shatner was irritated for a short while until he embraced it and capitalized off of it. Even after TJ Hooker, he was still known as Kirk.
I don't know what's on the Brotha's mind, but he's GOT to realize that whether it's Spaceballs or Star Trek, he'll always have a separate income stream from the Comic Convention fanbase.
Maybe he knows that but still doesn't care, much like Nimoy.
