Argentina are simply smarter with the ball through every facet of play. They don't just have it, but cherish it at every interval.
This is what we in this country need to learn.
There's no strategy when the US has the ball. As soon as someone gets the ball, they're looking to get rid of it because they don't want to be the one that gives it up.
It's night/day how Argentina and the US pass the ball.
He's the face of US soccer. Quintessential poster boy CAC.They just called out Bradley and Wondolowski on the halftime show
This foo Bradley a legacy or something? Why is it even a discussion. Snatch his ass up outta there
Yeah, as I've watched America play over the years, we just don't have that hyper accurate crispness to our ball movement that you see from the elite clubs. I agree that it's something to where you have to grow up with the ball in your crib. You develop a touch from kicking that ball around as a young child, that can never be reclaimed once that initial window is closed. Just as young kids brains can soak up sooo much information at a young age(it's easier to learn multiple languages, learn an instrument(s), etc), I believe the same applies to certain motor skills. The latter comes from youth. It's that simple.
As for what we call English football or "long ball city..." they're simply too tired to pass and move. There's a certain sharpness that's missing from this US team right now.
Klinsmann will gamble now because this is the last 45 mins of this tournament if he doesn't.
It can either kill us or bear fruit. We'll see.
