Good looking fam. It is possible that this was a hoax. However, in the link you provided, I failed to find the author's conclusion of the actual origin of the test (since he believes it's a hoax). Although much of the test was applicable to those back in that day and age (supposedly), certain math, grammar, and other aspects of it should still apply today.

How many 12th graders can answer this:

8) Find the interest of $512.60 for 8 months and 18 days at 7 percent.

Hoax or not, I'm still going to step my game up...
