They dont know you- fuck it lets say they might even know you. But there was a rumor spread about you that has no truth behind it and people are believing it. Would you be mad at that person even if they weren't spearding it further?

Would you stay away from that person. . .confront them and tell them it's not true, stay away from the people they associate with the most? How would you handle this seriously.
