So when’s the housing bubble bursting?

When the employed are pushed into homelessness

Goldstone has devoted his book, "There Is No Place for Us: Working and Homeless in America," to describing the challenges faced by literally millions of the working poor looking for a place to live. He has spent the better part of six years trying to understand why so many people who work full-time jobs with low wages are homeless.

Youth unemployment is rising. Hiring is freezing up. The housing market is a mess. How did things get so bad for young people in the economy? And are things as bad as they seem? Michael Batnick and Ben Carlson of the Animal Spirits podcast join the show to discuss.

One neighborhood over from mine is damn near brand new houses or houses that were damn near rebuilt in the summer of 2024 and all filled with renter and home owners. By the end of this past summer it was like a mass exodus of people getting evicted or moved out. 4 out of 30+ houses are occupied the rest have for rent or sale signs up. A 3 bdr was over there was going for 650k is now 200k :eek2: and it's only 2 years old

Bruh, this lady has been stacking money and living in this lady's house rent free for 10 months and won't even let her inside her own spot?? Like how is she stopping her? I am sure she has more keys. I would straight bust in like gang busters and if I needed to break door down and leave it broken until their asses leave.

The legal system is broken as fuck if it took her doing all that and they still took nearly a year.

The squatter changed the locks. There are cases where the squatters call the police on the homeowners. It's crazy.

What's crazy the owner offered her 2.5K to move out and that she didn't have to worry about fixing up anything in the house.....Shit crazy bro
