Exactly. They played in the NFC and only beat one team that was over .500 (9-7) during the season!!!
They only outscored their opponents by 20 points over the season!!! That SUCKS!!! They beat a bunch of lousy teams. Period. Unlike the Pats, who beat the Colts, Chargers, Cowboys, Browns, Steelers and Giants during the regular season, and outscored their opposition by over 300 points.
Nice streak by the Giants, but they're playing in the minors against inferior teams and got lucky. (Shit, they tried to give today's game away several times.)

But he did sit down with PBS' Charlie Rose for an interview that debuted Friday night.
Even though the Giants are a victory from reaching the Super Bowl, Barber said he has no regrets about retiring and added, "I'm proud of them. They've done a lot and accomplished a lot."

When Rose asked if Barber is concerned that the current group of backs could make people forget him, he said, "I hope they do. That's what it's all about."
Barber said that while he is a Giants fan and will root for them, as a fan, he also would enjoy the drama of Brett Favre against the Patriots in perhaps his final game in the NFL. "It's just a [good] story," he said.
