I don’t dislike Tracy McGrady, but I do believe in Karma and when I heard him state while watching Game 2 of the Houston Rockets vs. Utah Jazz series:

"I honestly believe this is the first time I can win a series with a team. This is the first team I have had the players that can get me into the 2nd round. This is the first well coached team I have been on. This is the first real team I have been on."

I wondered what is going to be his excuse now if they do lose the series? Up 2-0 and 3-2 against the Jazz once again a McGrady lead team choked away a series, a Game 7 at home no less. Before he has blamed the team, the coach and specific players, but according to him this was the perfect team, the perfect coach and the perfect time but they are still going home. Time to look in the mirror T Mac. Time to look in the mirror.

Hes on a shitty team, maybe? :confused: Last time I checked bball is 5 on 5, one man cant do it alone. T-Mac played his ass off in that series. The better team won, thats his excuse. I swear yall haterz come out the woodwork to bash a brotha. :hmm:

i don't know about excuses, but here are 2 factors:

1) the rockets couldn't hide yao ming. carlos boozer abused him. when yao ming tired in the 2nd halves of games, everybody was altering his shot. even mehmet okur blocked his shot.

2) rafer alston is not a PG.

I've being saying it for a minute
I don't see why the Rockets think they can turn an And1 streetballer into a pure NBA point guard
The guy looks like he's high or something on the court and does not comfortable at all playing the point
 
No excuses needed. He wasn't supposed to win. He balled the fuck out. But he has yet to lost to a team that he should've beaten. This isn't boxing or golf fellas. Was he supposed to shut Boozer and Okur down? Or maybe he should start passing the ball to himself. Dude was getting 13+ assists at the 2 guard position, giving his teamates every opportunity to get involved. He dropped 30 himself despite double teams etc...
 
here's what will happen...

1. van gundy will leave. it's about fucking time.
2. houston will then hire the coach's coach = larry brown. :yes:
3. larry will LEAVE yao at center, move t-mac to the #3, and bring-in a dennis rodman/ben wallace type YOUNG brother to "sweep the boards." he does NOT need to have an offensive game... just young legs and an attitude to get that ball. period. this takes the rebounding pressure off of yao's slow, robotic ass.
4. larry WILL bring-in a bonafied point guard... probably thru a trade with luther head who's HIGHLY overrated.
5. he will bring-in one player, likely a veteran that can score, as the 6th man.

this is what he does at EVERY coaching job he's had... and it has worked to BUILD better teams... cause afterall, basketball is a TEAM sport: good TEAM defense and good BALL MOVEMENT is how you win. a good example of this type of team is the utah jazz = VERY well coached team. :yes:
 
Perhaps T-Mac's problem is that he needs a stronger back....you know for carrying all those who can't pull their weight.

Yao???...I remember when they were calling him the center of the future,what a joke that is.

The Rockets main problem is too many role players and no help for T-Mac...

it was funny hearing TMac say after winning Game 5 that was the decisive win of the series. This is the third time this nigga has acted as if a series was already wrapped up, one day he's gonna learn not to do that shit.

Jordan had Steve Kerr, Dennis Rodman
Derek Jeter had Scott Brosius, Paul O'Neil

Game 7 was just sad. How did the Rockets let one man (Boozer) get to every rebound in the last 2 minutes. They got five people, including a 7'6" center, that can't get to a defensive rebound. T-Mac is borderline the black Dirk, great regular season player but goes soft as cotton candy in the playoffs.
 
T-Mac should have stayed his bitchass in Toronto
they were building something nice,.. then got his head
