So Water killed Bruce Lee

People have been getting their sweat glands removed or paralyzed for years . If you think that’s what killed him you should seek help. People get Botox and Hyperhidrosis surgery all the time to stop excessive sweating. It doesn’t take away sweating from other areas. It’s focused to that area.

I took a look at the article when it came out the other day.

This isn't conspiracy theory bullshit. This is actually a legit scientific hypothesis, albeit a brand new one, written by doctors. It was done forensically based on evidence that has always been available. The difference this time is that this is the first time that kidney specialists have done a serious medical evaluation on Bruce Lee, so you have a completely different medical perspective than anything that we had previously.

Article says, "Published December 22." Not, 'to be published.'

It's in the December 2022 edition of Clinical Kidney Journal, which is a real-deal, peer-reviewed scientific journal for nephrologists (kidney doctors). Like magazines, they are usually released the month before whichever month the issue is dated.

The article breaks down medically all of the other theories that we have so far and provides strong medical evidence as to why the cause of death was most likely hyponatraemia (too much water in your body). Long story short, due to several factors including injuries to the kidneys, cannabis/alcohol consumption, diet, exercise regimen, and water intake, Bruce Lee's kidneys basically stopped working right and were no longer able to excrete water properly into the bladder for elimination (which is their job). Therefore, an excessive buildup of H2O in his cells threw off the sodium balance which led to his brain swelling up (a typical symptom of hyponatraemia) and him dying. There was no record of Bruce having seen a kidney specialist before then, so something like this happening and being undiagnosed would be definitely possible and plausible.

I consider myself a pretty big fan of Bruce Lee. As such, I can say that the best documentary that I have seen so far that separates fact from fiction regarding theories related to his death is the season 2 episode of History's Greatest Mysteries. I don't have the whole episode on hand, but someone may have posted it downstairs. Here is the first 12 minutes on YouTube.

In the episode, it talks about the sweat glands thing and debunks it as a possible cause of death. Long story short, the armpits only contain 2 percent of all the sweat glands in your body, so removing them would have nowhere near a large enough effect on your body's ability to self-regulate its temperature to put you in any danger. If it did, then doctors would not perform the procedure.

Honestly, I recommend that whole History Channel series. It breaks down mysteries pretty well as far as fact/fiction goes.

Also, for anyone who doesn't think that too much water can kill you, then check out what happened to this woman who entered a radio station contest where whoever could pee the most won a prize. I actually remember this when it happened. Her family sued the radio station and won millions.

I remember this story too. Anything that causes an electrolyte imbalance, including fasting for too long, can be fatal. It causes heart arrhythmia. You can go into cardiac arrest.

Yeah, and they were saying that Bruce Lee hardly ever ate during the period leading up to his death cause he was insane about juicing. Prolly wasn't getting enough sodium.
